Not sure this is stainless. Sounds very tin like. Small toy suited for parakeet. Med or large birds will destroy this quickly.

Rings holding tubes can be opened by my amazon and all the pieces fell to the floor. I put the toy back together. I will get some actual heavy duty rings though because I am sure he will dismantle the toy again!

Calling this a bell toy is a bit deceiving. The sound is made from the smaller metal pieces clinging against the metal tubes; the tubes are empty, not bells. That said, most birds probably won't mind since it does make noise when shaken. My conure was dancing to the sound even as I was putting it in her cage!Four stars instead of five partly because of the false advertising, and partly because the toy arrived pretty dirty with black residue on the beads and needed to be thoroughly washed before I felt safe giving it to my bird.

This would have been a perfect present for my parakeet, however, it's almost twice the size of him. He's scared of it right now.... I'd suggest this go to a much bigger bird. It is fantastic quality and I will keep this for when I do get a bigger bird.

This doesn't look anything like a did in the picture. The Bells aren't real They're just tubes of metal. It's big and clunky The women hang down like they're supposed to If I could return this I 100% would.
