One of the best decision I made for my tundra it help so the bed don’t shag when I have something in it. Also help with towing. I would recommend replacing the very small and short bump stop with this. It does give it a more stiffer ride in the rear. If you have the extra money go with this option, but there is different options if you choose.

I got the yellow ones, and are great for when pulling, but rough when empty. Bought for my work truck, so does as I need it to, and removed the squat with the trailer

I got the yellows to lift up my nissan frontier after I put my overhead camper on my truck . It was sagging down about 3" in the back so added yellow sumo spring set it back to close to level . Even with my boat on hitch ball . Can tell a little ruffer on ride on dirt washboard roads but down pavement has normal ride . Pitting them on took about a hour cause picked a day was 109 degrees to install them . Watched a you tube video really easy . So fall liking them will see how they hold up

After reading reviews, I was nervous about buying the yellow set. I tow a 8000lbs. Travel trailer & a 20ft. Ranger bass boat. The install was very easy, took about 30-45 minutes. I’ve only towed my boat so far but 0 sag in rear end & the improved run down the highway was crazy. I do have a leveling kit but I did not experience the hardcore bouncing & jarring like I’ve heard others talk about. When not towing I still have the factory ride. I can’t wait to see how the travel trailer tows with these installed. I’d recommend for Tundra owners for the price difference go with the yellow pair ( 2800 lbs. at 50% compression).

Measure the gap between the axles and the body. I removed the tires for a "much" easier install.

Fairly easy install. Just unbolt the u-bolts for the leaf springs and remove the factory bump stop. Rebolt with the sumosprings and you are good to go. It does ride a little rougher when empty, but it’s still a truck. Worked great for towing a van on a flatbed trailer for over 3,000 miles no issue. It fits a 2021 tundra 2wd without issue.

I installed these on my 2010 Tundra DC 2WD. I usually haul a ton of wood pellets, mulch, heavy steel/lead, etc and each time the bed would sag. Not any more! With these installed, the bed rests on these springs and keeps the truck level and stable driving down the road with a load in the back. They were very easy to install (PROs: 1. truck doesn't sag with a large load in the bed. 2. truck is stable at highway speeds. 3. truck is not "bouncy" at speed when you hit a pothole.CONs: 1. with no load in the bed, the bed still rests on these "stops" as they are taller than the factory ones removed. therefore, the bed is a bit higher without a load. 2. with the bed resting on these stops/springs, the vehicle is a bit more bouncy in the rear without a load.suggestion to manufacturer: since these yellow springs screw onto the supplied mounts, why not offer a stock version (stock height bump stop) that i can screw back on when i don't need the added support? they are very easy to remove (put a floor jack on one side of the frame and jack the bed up to unscrew it, then repeat on the other side) and it will restore the original smooth ride.

Love how simple it was to install and not having to worry about a leak in the comparable air systems.

Ive had the yellow sumo springs for a few months now and still strong. I bought them because I was going to haul an rv trailer. I have the stock suspension with a 2.5 inch left and let me tell you they worked great! I didn’t want the Tacoma to sag to much. I’m not a mechanic or a big car guy but these were really easy to install. (Of course just be very care). I recently had to pick up a load of dirt. Now the truck did sag a bit but the drive was a lot smoother than having the original bump stops.Having no load or weight on the back does make the rear drive stiffer. If you live in a nice pavement roads it’s not to bad at all, but if you live in bumpy roads and you don’t carry heavy loads don’t get these. I do leave them on the truck. Side note my Tacoma isn’t my everyday driver. I don’t regret getting the yellow one I think their perfect when having weight in the back. I might get the softer one just to have them lol.I’ve never had the air shock before so I can’t compare. I went with the sumo springs because I did t want to deal with the inflating and deflating.I hope this helps. Drive safe out there.

These things are awesome. I have had the black, and the yellow grades and both worked perfectly. Literally installed on my 2011 Toyota Tacoma in 15 minutes including putting the tools away.

i was going to add extra leaf to my 2004 Toyota Trundra spring. And it could have cost me $500 and at the end i do not gain nothing. I haul lots of weight on the back of my Toyota Tundra and the truck sags down like crazy and driving become difficult and uncomfortable. NOT ANYMORE! after i installed the Sumo springs my truck can handle 3000LB without any problem and tuck still sit high at the back and looked like it could take more. Driving is very comfortable with sumo Spring. I notice the difference as soon i was on the road after installation. It also put less wear and tear on my leaf spring and wheels. Sumo Spring is the best thing out there if you want to boots up your suspension. !!!!
