“What’s that?” my 8 y/o son asked as he pressed on the gel. I stated it was for cooling your chin. It can also be placed in the fridge before use and it’ll be cold for a short time.“Comfortable” was his remarks to me and one coach. He loved it.Easier to adjust than others but still work to make it fit well. Maybe add marks or dots on the straps for reference when adjusting.I’d buy again if needed.

Bought this for my son to replace the one the school issued bc of comfort. He loves it and it is pretty cushiony. Seems to be of good quality so far. Great purchase!

Chin strap that came with my sons helmet from school was the old fashioned version and hurt his chin. He loves this one.

My son plays middle school football and he loves this chin strap. He especially loves the gel inside because it feels comfortable against his skin and leaves a cool feeling when he gets all hot. The only thing he did not like is there is a netting over the gel inside the chin part, he thought that would aggravate his skin, but it doesn't bother him. He said he doesn't even notice it.
