Best for the price

I have bought at least 5 sets of these now and they are holding up great. Surface finish isn't the absolute best, but I cant beat the price. When cutting flats it leaves small swirls no matter the feed rate. When cutting edges it leaves diagonal hairy lines. I have used Harvey tool cutters of the same size in the past with marginally better results, certainly not worth the 10x cost jump. So I am forced to do a cleanup pass with a different fine 5 flute cutter.

If you like throwing your money in the trash buys these bits. It didn't matter what speeds used the snap right off. I only drilled a few small holes before they busted again and again. Please look some where else.

.05 DOC at 12ipm entry and 18ipm cutting and 7500rpm spindle speed and this little end mill can’t get through a single job. Any slower or shallower it’s a waste to even use. I’m tired of cheap end mills they’re hard to find higher quality in the smaller sizes. We prefer Gws alumigators or Kennematal kor5 for 3/8 and up. I will keep searching for better small end mills. It’s getting tiring for sure.

The bits are as described however they don’t seem to be able to cut aluminium without gumming up instantly. Tried many combinations and calculations of speeds and feeds and simply can’t get them to cut anything.

I’m using these with an old dremel router accessory as a makeshift router table for free handing cutouts in 1/8” tinted polycarbonate sheets that I use as faceplates on weather stations. That stuff is difficult for me to work with since it chips and cracks easily. These cut through that stuff like, well not like butter but pretty smooth. I ran them at the lowest dremel speed and had to keep the feed rate down or the chips came off so hot they melted. I’m very happy with these bits.My dremel is at least 20 years old and the bearings are shot so the shaft can get to oscillating when using burr bits. That was easy to control with these, because they’re spiral cutters they don’t chatter. Even a new dremel tool would probably chatter with burr tools in that plastic router assembly.

Do not buy for aluminum or probably even wood (I didn't try it but I'm sure it wouldn't even cut that). No matter what your feeds or speeds are this product sucks. The one star is only so I could submit this review.
