It’s a great thi no if you don’t wanna mess with much setting up a fire pit. Not digging for me, just throws it over the grass which I didn’t care about and lit it up. Love chilling out back and watching a fire

Easy assembled design looks solid probably could use a extra high temp spray paint layer it scratches easily while assembling

Let’s be honest, we all just bought a $60 fire pit insert that claims to be smokeless. We got what we paid for! Overall, the build quality is okay. The metal and coating appear to be average and will last a few years. The screws and acorn nuts look to be the weak point as they are super light and made of a milder steel than the ring itself. When assembled, it’s going to be a little egg shaped so some gentle pushing should push it back into a 31” circle. Nothing you can do to avoid that because it’s the horse we saddled. On the topic of that 31” ring, if you bought the tumbled 4”x11.2”x6” concrete blocks from your local hardware store, this is going to be a tight squeeze. If you already used mortar, you’re gonna have a fight on your hands to get it to fit. Definitely wait to set the stones or be prepared to trim some rock.Overall, it does look good and the lip looks good when assembled (which was my main concern to be honest). The holes on the top that are there to make it smokeless will be a point of contention. In order to draft enough air into the pit you’ll be at semi-bonfire status to get enough air moving to see if that works. Be sure you’ve made some air intake points at the bottom. You can trim the stones in half and place them in to allow a gap on each side on 3 or 4 points. So to recap, $60 insert, free shipping with Prime, kinda decent build quality, kinda sketchy bolts/acorn nuts, eggy, smallish holes for “smokeless” claim. This get 3 stars. You people need to calm down with the 5 star reviews.

Easy to install, looks great. When the fire is strong enough, it can indeed suppress smoke.
