Your cart is empty. The bell has a pleasant sound and loud enough, it can be heared from a distance which it suppose to, to alarm wildlife. you can muffle it to your liking.
Please note: Because the clapper of the bell is made by screwing (in order to facilitate the use of the muffler function), please check whether the screws are tightened during use to prevent losing the clapper.

The strap that comes with the clamp cannot be removed from the clamp and is cheap quality. This made the bell fall off within the first day of use. On the second day the inside of the bell though securely screwed inside earlier also fell off and now we can't find it. At least the bell shell itself as far as I can tell is real metal but who knows how pure it is. Probably doesn't deserve to be put at such a high price if there are only 2/5 pieces that are actually functional and of OK quality.

Doesn’t annoy me. Sounds like fairy bells.

Purchased these for my dog! They look good and sound good! The main problem is that the clappers do and will fall out! The clappers are screwed into the bell and need to be glued, into the bell to prevent the clapper from falling out!!! Please fix this problem/fault!!

I have never rang a bell without a handle before and didn't realize that I needed to hold it by the very tip to hear it ring. The bell rings fine. It isn't really loud but seems loud enough. The whistle and bell attach to a velcro belt loop which seems sturdy and well made. It comes in a nice little pouch for storage. I am satisfied with this purchase. In order for the bell to ring properly it should be placed on the key ring that comes with it.

Advertising your presence in bear country is a good idea, and these charming bells do the job perfectly. Add them to your wish list and enjoy knowing that there will be no bear surprises during your hike.

We have very curious, 300 or more pound black bear on a mountain near Asheville. They don’t like noises like this. They work great on the garbage cans.

Hi. Today I noticed that the inside part of one of the bells is missing. The part that makes the sound. I can't even find it. It must have been lost while on a walk. Very disappointed 😞

Update 4/19/2023I would not recommand this bell. The bell is well made, except for a weak link... (1.5 inch bells)After using it as a bell on my dog's collar for 6 months, it broke. The hole on top of the bell that attaches to the keyring wears out and it is now an open loop. The bell is still in great shape, but it is no longer usable as it can't be hang up to function. Such a great bell, but it has a weak link with very thin, soft metal where it hangs. It is a good product, but not made to last, not even a year. Because it could no longer works as a bell only after 6 months of use, I am lowering my review score from 5 to 1 star.Manufacturer, please fix this design flaw and you'll have a perfect bell. Just make the material on top of the bell where it attache to the keyring thicker. This is just a problem with the 1.5 inch bells. The 2.0 inch bells has thicker, stronger material where it hangs, but it is a bit big and heavy for my puppies. When they are fully grown, I'll be getting them the 2.0 inch bells as replacement. I will not buy these 1.5 inch bells again.-----------------------------------------------------------------------Original review Oct, 2022:I wanted a pair of good quality bells for my dogs to wear and these turned out great! They are of good size at 1.5 inch, so they are good for medium and large dogs. They do make a good sounding tone, but it could be a bit loud at night. I ended up putting a small piece of 1/4 inch inner diameter rubber tubbing over (around) the hammer to quiet it down a bit. Now I can tell where the dogs are without those bells sounding like a 5 alarms fire. An easier way to quiet it down is to put some electrical tapes around the hammer to dampen the sound . The included whistles are of good quality (heavy brass) and sound very loud. I am using them for dog training.I am very happy with these bells and they are simply beautiful! Everyone thinks that they are the cutest thing on the dogs. Yes, they are solid brass and sounding like it also! They are a bit big and heavy for small dogs and could hang too low. If your small dog has long legs, it'll fit just fine. I highly recommend these bells! They are the real deal with good weight to them. Beautifully polished inside and out. The quality of these bells feels like jewels in my hand. I well definitely buy again.Important note. I eproxy glued the hammer screw on to the bell before use so that there is no chance of it ever coming off. Otherwise, the hammer could easily get unscrewed and become lost over time. This is a must!I've also considered getting the 2 inch bells for the dogs, but they are just too big. Unless you have a giant breed dog, stick to the 1.5 inch bells. They are plenty big enough for proper proportion on a dog.

Bell clanger loosened and fell out. I found it and "Lock-Tite," it back in. That did the trick. Do it before using. I put the bell on my dog's collar and gave one to a friend.

We bought these for hiking out west. Worked great, well made. I did tighten the clapper screw before using, it was a bit loose. Overall these are great and have a pleasant tone. Everyone we passed on the trail said "good idea"!! Also, dont forget bear spray too!
