1. Screw adapter into Soda water machine with wrench.
2. Screw the nut to CO2 gas cylinder and tighten it by wrench.
3. Connect the male and female quick disconnect.
4. Open the valve of the large gas bottle Done, you can use your soda machine now.

I got this to use with a bigger CO2 tank on my original SodaStream screw in design. It fits perfectly! It was super easy to hook up and all the connections fit snuggly. Seems to be leak free but I also shut the tank after using. So glad I won’t have to constantly fill and exchange those small canisters anymore!

I have spent an inordinate amount of time learning how this all works and I'm usually pretty handy with this type of thing. I've just been busy with other stuff and haven't had the time. What's important and hopefully will help you is to really understand how to make this work, before you make any purchases. Read up on it and watch videos and don't make the mistake that I made which was to just buy the parts first and figure it out later. The primary mistake that I made was rushing the process and improperly identifying which machine I have. I admittedly did throw away some money on the incorrect parts because I was in a hurry to get this done. I don't have the money to throw away, but I'll save a lot of money on the refills. This is the way to go, but seriously know what you are doing and know which parts you need. If you do it right, you will save money. I hope that this is helpful.

I have a large 20lb tank and this fits my original sodastream (screw in style) perfectly. Lets me use a large tank and not have to constantly refill the pricey bottles. Havent had any issues with leaking--but I would recommend closing your tank after each use. Comes with a set of replacement gaskets that I have no idea how/where to use. Watch the online video (no printed instructions) and you'll see the largest one is required for the connection to the large gas tank. Not sure where the small ones are used. The hose is fairly stiff and can be awkward to maneuver around but with patience youll get it where you need it. Im very happy so far and would recommend this.

Extremely handy to have. No more tiny little tanks which are overpriced and don't last. Great idea and good product.
