And they are pretty. I machine wash in warm water. Never put them in the dryer. It ruins the elasticity. Yes they are a little pricey. I have arthritis in both feet. These socks really help support, warm, and ease my feet when walking. Even in summer. These socks do not become uncomfortable for me until temps are 100. F.

The color is pretty. The socks are durable, comfortable, and supportive for a 12 hour summer hiking day.

Seems like a nicely made, quality sock but it's extremely small. Really, not even close. I didn't try to shove my foot in as I didn't want to damage the sock. I wear women shoe size 12 and ordered the large.
