Fits 2023 Kawasaki klx230S perfectly. Super easy to install, just have to remove stock metal clip that under bike.

Purchased a new motorcycle (KLX 230 S) which did not come with a skid plate. This product fit perfectly and was easy to install on my new bike. The directions were clear and included pictures. I like the thickness of the product and color.

No issues fitting this on (2022 KLX 230S) and it's decently thick plastic. It won't save you from casing it on a sharp rock, but it will keep small rocks and debris from hitting the bottom of your engine. Since I'm not trying to make a double on this bike, this skid plate will be perfect for my needs.I got it installed in about 5 minutes and nothing needs modified to get it on. The bolts it comes with are nothing exotic, they take a 4mm allen (one is not provided). I made sure to install the bolts with some anti-seize on them as they don't appear to be stainless steel. I might go back and replace them with stainless bolts the next time I'm doing maintenance on the bike. Otherwise, they work fine.It fits very good and from looking at the OE accessory part online, they are very similar--but this one is about $5 cheaper. The other may come with better bolts though (factory bolts are high quality) so the value here may not be as much as it seems. Torque specs are not provided in the directions.So good fit, decent protection, so-so bolts and not much cheaper than the OE piece.

The skidplate was supplied with the three bolts needed, but one of the bolts is unusable due to a manufacturing defect and to insufficient quality control. The head of the bolt cannot accept a screwdriver, so now I have to source another fine-thread bolt. Other than that, the skidplate seems robust enough for casual use, so I'll put it to use as soon as I can finish the installation.
