This might be a stupid review, but I was in a hurry... My 82-year-old mother needed this mounted in a condominium garage over her car. The string is stretchable (or elastic), making it hard to judge the height. I messed up, but someone made it work. I'm not sure how you could add an adjustment for height, but that would help.
