Excellent color, amazing value. We bought for Girl Scout instead of the name brand because this brand has PINK!

The colors are vibrant but if pressure is applied too hard, the tips break. Even when trying to sharpen with the sharpeners provided, the color pencils just keep breaking at the tip thus making it difficult to use.

I ordered this so I could have a set of colored pencils on hand and not have to continually borrow from my coworkers. Love the variety of colors and that the set comes with a handful of sharpeners. My class sharpener does tear these up though so I'd recommend caution when you need these sharpened.

After reading many reviews, I asked my school to order these instead of the big-name pencils with high hopes that they would perform better than the bog-brands. I am not a new teacher, but am new to this school and I NEEDED colored pencils!Unfortunately, we have found them SUPER frustrating to use. 😞Pros:-I like the colors, and so do my students. It's a good assortment of colors, and cover most of the classroom activities I needed them for.-I teach Spanish, and the color names are not already listed on the pencil in Spanish/French so students have to learn them.-The box is reasonably sturdy and nicely divided for classroom storage.-They come with a decent number of sharpeners. (But they are open sharpeners, so I do NOT let my middle schoolers use them.)Cons:- The colors break SO EASILY. By the end of our first day using them, I had spent more time sharpening pencils than assisting students. I pulled out a dozen sets of 12 for students to use (I travel between 5 rooms, so using the box wasn't practical) and easily 1/3 of them are already sharpened down to nubs because every time we tried to sharpen them they kept breaking and breaking and breaking. And we've tried 6 different pencil sharpeners BESIDES the ones that come in the box. Although I've tried those too. (I intended to take pictures before posting a review, but my students today DEMANDED that I post the review before another day goes by. We are that frustrated. )- the color names are not already listed on the pencil in Spanish/French (I think this is a pro, but if using in a classroom with ENL or ELL students, it's good to know the colors are only labelled in English.)They are pretty, and they color well, until your tip breaks. Once you try to sharpen them, they break and break and break and break. Next time I'll stick with the classics.
