For reference, I installed this on a 2023 Kona Mahuna XL.When starting to install, I was worried it might be a bit too small to fit, but it went on, closed securely, fits snugly, and looks awesome.I was looking around for a rubber type chainstay protector, the kind that comes stock on many bikes, but I actually like the way this one looks more. Plus, it's easy to remove and reinstall for cleaning.Highly recommend if your bike didn't come with a factory chainstay protector. Even if you have your clutch engaged (which you should), that only minimizes risk of chain slap some - it doesn't totally eliminate it, so you do need something like this if you want to protect your paint and not hear the clanking on harder drops.

I like that you can easily put it on the bike frame by the chain to help protect it. It’s Velcro straps so it will fit on most bikes.

Only thing to watch is clearance as it's thicker than using tape or vinyl and some bikes (e.g. gravel) don't have huge amounts of clearance between the drivetrain and chainstays. I put mine on a CAAD13 and there's probably only 1mm clearance from the chain - but fantastic protection from chaindrop as I take the wheel off regularly to use a trainer.

Great quality, but didn’t cover my bike’s chainstay,(Scott scale) it was too short to wraparound, so I sold it.

I am using this on my Cannondale road bike and it’s a great fit. It looks fine and does what it needs to do!

This is by far the best chainstay protector I've ever used, and only took a few minutes to install. It is waterproof and extremely durable as well--I highly recommend it (especially for mountain and gravel bikes).

Fit nice, works well only downside is it slides down the chainstay so it’s not where I want it to be. My chainstay is wider at one end. I’m going to put a couple dabs of silicone on the inside to see if that helps it stay put. Otherwise it’s a great product

Pretty decent quality. Shimano ("Pro" is a Shimano sub-brand) products are always reliable and reasonably priced, including this one.The neoprene will surely protect the frame from chain slaps.Fits well on the chainstay of my Surly Disc Trucker. It was too big for my Lynskey R150.Satisfied.

Looks better than the Lizard Skins one I had which was a canvas type of material, and was difficult to clean, shorter in length, and prone to fading. This one has more of a slick surface to wipe clean more easily. The velcro on this one is trim to fit, which makes is usable for a variety of chainstay sizes. Lizard Skins, you have to order your specific size, which is difficult to guess with online ordering, as opposed to a LBS purchase. I have mine on a 2013 Giant Escape 3 hybrid, if that helps any. It's perfect for a "normal" road/hybrid type frame. I can't comment on MTB fit. It looks great on my bike, and I expect it to do so for a while. Lizard Skins one lasted about a year, I expect this one to last at least twice that.
