Construction is excellent. I'm sure it will be just as solid in 100 years. Regarding the design, I'm not a fan of the pointed tip. It prevents me from being able to drag forward a log all the way against the back wall of the firebox. And the tip can't do anything that a right angle poker can't also do. I have a separate poker that is just a right angle at the end and I find it more useful. This one looks rustic and solid though.

My poker hangs in my living room next to the fireplace. It's hand made & so pretty. I belong to The Good Shepherd Anglican Church, so naturally I was attracted to the shepherd's hook design. I'm pleased with this purchase.

I’ve been using this poker since 2017 across 20+states and more campfires than I can think of. I give it a coat Of 3n1 oil every winter. It’ll out live me!

We love that this poker is one piece, no screw on parts. None of those stay together it seema. It's sturdy and easy to hold, exactly what we were looking for.

I like a poker made of one single piece of metal; handles that screw on/off can loosen at exactly the wrong time when you're stoking a fire. So this poker works great. I like the length for my wood burning stove. I use a longer poker for a big fireplace or for outdoor burns, but this is great for the wood stove.
