- SILVER: Its metallic surface provides high refractive index, which can create catchlight and increase the exposure of the subject. Light reflected is relatively neutral and strong.

This looked like a good beginner friendly kit, but the stand is incredibly flimsy. The lever that allows you to move the arm has holes that are too large for it to stay put. The reflector itself is good, but please pass on this if the stand was something you were hoping to get good use out of.

Ordered this and opened box to make sure all contents were in good order but failed to open the bag that says "5 in 1" reflector until recently , only to find out it doesn't have a 5 in 1 but only a white translucent reflector. this ruined my photography headshot sessions since i was not able to put a catch light under the chin (really needed the silver reflector). Since i contacted Selens and Amazon, their excuses just multiplied and did not help me at all and instead blamed each other and blamed me for not checking the package immediately. the stand is in decent order but the clevis that holds the extendable arm feels like its going to break if you tighten it too tightly and the extendable arm actually shifts within that clevis. Its not a very good stand, period. i was able to test the sturdiness with the white translucent reflector that did come in and noticed that shifting in the reflector, i have an extra clevis from Savage, and that i was able to hold the reflecto in place without shifting.terrible product, $75 down the drain. shame on you Selens and Amazon. garbage companies.

Its been coming apart since I bought it, but I tried my best to make due. Today my irritation has hit the max.. Going to try and super glue it or SOMETHING because this is ridiculous. I hate it and will replace it with a different brand/company sometime SOON😠😡🤬STEER CLEAR OF THIS GARBAGE!!!

The reflector arrived broken. I havened even opened the box yet. It cant he a good sign when the product is broken before you even use it. Hopefully the company/seller is good at responding to reviews and can fix this problem. 2 stars to start. Maybe more if the problem is resolved.

I would use these inside as they are not study enough to use outdoors. The stands are flimsy and just a slight breeze takes them down. Also understand that this is one reflector with different sleeves.
