So disappointing...The look and description had me very excited. Then when it showed up about 5 days sooner than expected, I thought i had hit the jackpot. The top piece was beautiful! Unfortunately, i found out during assembly that the drawer sides and bottoms are NOT made of metal or wood, but fabric. What!? I've reread the description and no where does it mention that. Since I went ahead and assembled it (hopelessly optimistic), I'm probably stuck with it. 😒

I never do reviews, but this one deserved it! Typically when you order a piece of furniture online and have to put it together, the directions are terrible and nothing is labeled properly. And your left, wondering which screw is what. I have never bought a piece of furniture that had everything labeled so precisely. This was so easy to put together and absolutely beautiful.

This is not a functional file cabinet, if that is what you are looking for do not purchase this. It has a cute appearance. Few problems to note. 1. The hanging frame inside the drawers are too tall, ample room but the file folders obstruct the opening and closing. 2. The drawers hold a good quantity of files but does not manage the weight, very difficult to put out the drawer and close it. Takes quite a bit of muscle. 3. First time opening the drawer, after filing it to half of capacity the security strap on the side of the drawers secured with a snap closure bent the stop, it could no longer be snapped back together. 4. Once contents are placed in the drawers, the drawers do not close flush, there is a gap. Attractive storage for extremely light weight items, not files. I did contact customer support and they were receptive to returning my funds. DO NOT BUY if you need file storage.

Would not have purchased if I knew the drawers were only wood face, the rest is fabric. You will mot be able to put file folders in the drawers unless you buy the hanger rack and hanging file folders which is additional expense. Plus you will not be able to pull the drawers out fully without the drawer falling. $20 for delivery gets you excellent packing and step by step instructions. Looks great but functionality is lacking and not worth the price for me. I would return it but would have to spend another hour taking it apart. Pay the extra money for a fully metal file cabinet.
