*****UPDATE***** I talked to tech support on this issue. As it turns out the ad was contradictive of itself and the toilet was actually 24 volt, not 12. The tech support was friendly and very cooperative on resolving this issue. I am changing my rating up to 4 stars from 2. Ensure that you are getting the correct voltage toilet, if you have questions or doubts, call tech support and they can guide you..............................................................**** If you purchase this toilet and it seems to operate slower than you think it should, make sure you have enough amperage at the connection. I installed it in a 50 foot houseboat and it has the batteries in the back by the engines. The 12 volt supply runs from the back of the boat all the way to the front where the elec panel is and then runs throughout the boat. I ended using a stand alone battery and charger closer to the toilet and this thing will flush better than a house toilet.****
