Bigger than I thought. Heavier than I expected. I wanted to replace a tiny ladle I used for pancake batter. It's bigger but will be okay. It also works as a soup ladle for a soup pot that is 8 1/2" across. It is tall enuf that it doesn't slide down into the soup. You have to use your right hand with this uniquely shaped ladle. Lefties may not like it.
