I needed a replacement for our old condensate pump. Bought this one and so easy to set up and get running. Runs super quiet.

What's up with this product. Saniflo won't even let you search for it on Amazon. You have to get to the Saniflo Store. There are no videos of it anywhere. The manual incorrectly speaks of fig. 5 and 6. They don't exist, not labeled at least. The "figures" go from 3 to 7 and then there are two unlabeled pictures...if those are "fig. 5 and 6" what happened to 4? Why are there no actual maintenance instructions in the "Instructions and Maintenance Manual"? The only site anywhere that offers some kind of insight is a dude that posted on the Q&A on the Home Depot site. My son's plumber installed this. He just did maintenance a month ago it's gunked and gross. This is all very sketchy for something called their "Best".

To remove condensate to the drain from the air handler

Great little device. I was worried about the condensation from our heat pump running into the basement drain, since it did overflow once. This resolved the issue very quickly and efficiently. There is a little more noise than I thought, but it's not bad.

I choose this unit when two other makes of condensate pumps failed after three or four heating seasons - the plastic housings leaked when they became brittle and cracked. The housing on the Saniflo pump is thicker and the composition of the plastic appears to be different from the others as it is more flexible. Now in its fourth heating season, the plastic housing is still supple and shows no sign of cracking. The unit is quiet and I like the fact that it has two independent float switches; one to operate the pump and the other that can be attached to an alarm or a control relay on the furnace (if you know how) to alert for an overflow condition (or shut off the furnace). This is much better than using a single float switch to operate the pump and warn of overflow - if that float sticks or gets waterlogged, the pump fails and the alarm won't work.Overall, it is a nicely designed unit that is about to outlast the other makes of pumps that I have had. I have purchased a second Saniflo pump to keep as a spare. Unlike the others, I don't think that I will be needing it anytime soon.

works as expected, pretty quite. solid build, I bought it because I was impressed with the build of the up flush toilets. It is on par with the other pumps I have.

I have 2 of these pumps and have found there quality to be higher then others. They are made in America, are easy to mount on a wall and have a clam shell design that makes them easy to take apart. A neat feature is a wiring harness to hook up an alarm.Overall, this is a great pump....solid, quiet and well built.
