First, you can not use sand in any sand blaster, including this one. Not beach sand, or washed sand or play sand.Confusing, I know, but that is life.Look on Amazon for sandblasting media.I used this with ground corn cobs on the studs, joists and subfloors of an old house to remove 100 years of dirt. Works great. It makes a mess, but no worse than heavy sanding. I use the corn cobs because they are not that abrasive and they will biodegrade. You will need a heavier sandbasting media for something like rust removal. The hose is way too short for anything but blasting something right next to the sandblaster. In a situation like mine, trying to sandblast around pipes above your head, the hose is too short. I will be looking to add a longer hose.Goes through a full tank of sandblast media pretty quick , but that is ok because it fills the room with dust and you have to stop because you cant see anyway. If you have a big job, a whole house or car, you will not like this sandblaster. You will want a much bigger one. But for a home owner or if you can do the job a little at a time over several weeks, this is perfect. You will need a full size air compressor . If you can carry your compressor or fit it in the trunk of your car, it is not big enough. I used a Kobalt 26 gallon 4.5 SCFM@90PSI .Do not try to be a hero and use this without the provided hood, or another sandblast hood. I also recommend a TYVEX suit, you can buy them on Amazon, if you are going to be in a confined space like a house. Everything you spray bounces off your target and lands on you. In your pockets, hair, down your shirt, etc. A TYVEX suit with attached booties and hood makes you look like you are searching for biological weapons, but you can take it off outside and keep the stuff out of the house.Overall, I recommend it for homeowners with small jobs and big air compressors .Just don't try to run sand in your sand blaster

Received my Sandblaster a few days ago. Finally put it together. Very easy to install, but the directions font could be a little bigger especially for those who wear glasses. Lol Looking forward to using it. Bought it so I can sandblast my trailer. Can't wait. The packaging was great and everything was organized. However, the mask they give you is a waste. Recommend spending a few bucks and get a good one. Overall, I give it a 5 star. Thanks Redsun.

A solid unit. Tends to clog at the valve at the bottom of the hopper but that's pretty standard for any stand up pot and just takes a little love with a rubber mallet to the bottom of the pot and working the valve to clear. Would have given it the whole five stars but my unit came without an axle for the wheels but was not to much of an issue as I made one for it out of spare parts.
