Spray Painting Tips
- Shake can for one minute after mixing ball starts to rattle
- Continue to shake can often during use
- Hold can 10-16" from surface
- Spray back and forth, slightly overlap each stroke
- Apply at least 2 light coats a few minutes apart for best results
- If valve clogs, twist and pull off tip; clean with mineral spirits

Rustoleum spray makes painting our black cast iron porch posts and railings so much easier than using a brush. The paint covers well and lasts a long time.The best tips I have to offer a beginner is to wear a mask, don't skimp on the painter's tape, use a drop cloth and be sure the wind is not blowing if you're painting outdoors.Beyond that...have fun with your project and prepare to be amazed at the results.As my title said, you really can't go wrong with Rustoleum.
