These are pretty much credit card size, so if you an artist looking for a larger composition tool, this is useful for studio use but you'll have to hold it close to your eyes. It's really meant to store in a wallet, back of phone, or sketchbook/photo kit. It's very useful, though, and it's made from a sturdy translucent plastic. I'm not entirely sure it won't get very scratched up with lots of use and sliding in and out of my kit, but it gives a quick idea of how to compose images and sketches. Very happy with this.
