I used this product to cover tarnished bedroom furniture handles. It covered the tarnish well enough, and after several coats, and buffing, the appearance of streaks decreased. I can say that the gold leaf handles look much better than the brown tarnished color from 30 years of use. Unfortunately, I have to paint sections of the furniture that got stained from the rub and buff because I was too lazy to remove the handles. I thought that painter's tape would suffice as a barrier.I am glad that I used this product as opposed to spray paint, not because of the coverage, but for the convenience of not having to find a place to spray paint.
