Had to get a 2XL because there weren’t any XL available and I needed it immediately, so I just trimmed off the excess and sewed the edges. I got this for a wound my dog has on his elbow and the bandages wouldn’t stay on because of the placement of the injury. This does allow for the wound to breathe a bit while keeping it protected from general debris like carpet fuzzies and light dirt. I make sure to hand wash it between uses. Would highly recommend! *is not a brace that gives any tips of support, it fits like a loose legging that’s fitted at the bottom*

Our 90 pound German shepherd mix had surgery on his front leg and I ordered 3 different sleeves to try. Bc of his breed his chest is quite wide, 37 inches. I did get the 2xl, potentially I could have gotten one size down but the velcro adjusts we just have a little extra off the ends. The reason I chose this one was bc it was really light weight and breathable. Comfortable for him to lay around in at all times. I will say if your dog is an escape artist he has been able to pull this off and get out of it pretty easily. He knows not to, but he could. We put a donut cone on him at night to know he isnt messing with it. Would def recommend unless your dog is continuously gonna try to pull off this sleeve the velcro might not cut it.

Pros: Covers the leg as intended, light weight and breathable material. Great alternative to a coneCons: Velcro straps are in 2 strips and secure under the dog rather than on the back. In our case the strap that comes down in front of the chest is long on our slender dog. It hangs down and there's no good place to tuck it in. I also found the two strap method a little cumbersome as opposed to a single strap that secures on the back.I bought the right size, it just has one long strap for the shape of our dog (tall and slender). If I had bought the smaller size it would not have been long enough for his leg that had the injury. I added extra Velcro to accommodate, but I don't love sewing so I felt a little slighted:-}

I bought this first because I could get it overnight. Our rescue dog chewed through it the first day. He had a wound on his front leg. This is not a heavy sleeve. A cone should be worn with it.

This product saved my furniture from the awful hood/cone post surgery. My dog also hated the cone. Can be worn over bandages and keeps uncovered incisions clean when outside. Excellent product.

Good quality product, I assumed my doberman would chew through this in minutes, but she didn’t mind wearing it and has lasted

When I put this on my dog it works great she can’t lick her arms that need to recover, and the size is just a bit loose on her even I measure it and pick the bigger size in between, that didn’t work if your dog is a skinny German shepherd mix I guess? And it some how come off over last night but a stew attached to her except one of the velcro it’s off and her arm it’s out of the sleeve. And for the durability of this product, I don’t think it will last long at all because is super soft and stretchy, but yea I’m going to put it back on my dog again and if it stay on for 2 more days then I will probably give it a 4 star instead. I think the biggest thing is for the size if you have a skinny dog that have longer legs I would recommend you guys pick the smaller size in between maybe that will fit better?

We needed this sleeve when my dog got a bad scrape on her elbow. It was bleeding and we needed to put on an ointment that she should not ingest. The sleeve protected her wound and kept her from licking off the ointment. It worked so well! She didn’t seem uncomfortable when wearing it. It was not too tight on her leg, and had a lot of flexibility with the straps that went over her shoulders. She is 27 pounds, for reference.

This was a perfect fit for my dog after elbow surgery. He is 42kg and I bought the XL. Highly recommend.

I ordered a size small for my 13 lb bichion cross, it’s way too big. Goes to her paw and super lose on her limb. I think it would work well if there was a size that would fit her snuggly.Thankfully returning the item seems like it’ll be easy.

Dog had a 3 1/2” incision/stitches where the front leg meets the chest. This sleeve worked perfectly to cover the stitches without rubbing on them. It goes up high enough on the leg that there was no chance of licking. Allowed our guy to function without a cone for the 2 week healing period. It is a good quality fabric, not too thin, but breathable. Easy to put on and take off and velcro made it easy to adjust. It can be used on either leg, a great design! The sleeve was a tad too long but can be rolled (and it stays put). Washable (and I dried it in the fryer. We took it off for our walks just to let the incision get some air, but we could have just as easily left it on. We have a size XL, which was perfect. Our dog is 73 lbs., leg 13”, chest 31”. Best $$ spent.

It’s hard to size my dog. She needs an XL for legs but a L for chest. We ended up ordering both. We kept the XL to make sure the leg was covered. Sadly, she tore through the sleeve in a day. Need to find one that is more chew resistant as this is more like a tshirt material.Straps are extremely long in XL and it wasn’t too difficult to put on my pup.
