We have had an insane drought in Western Maryland this year. I can only visit periodically unfortunately but this plant has held up and thrived, hard to believe.

My Royal Purple Smoke Bush arrived very healthy and looks exactly like in the picture of the small ones that you receive. Very happy with my purchase. It was packaged very good! The soil still had some moisture so the plant was still vibrant. Would buy from this seller again! I want to update this because after a few months it has added two feet of growth. I am beyond pleased!!!!

Plants were in exvcellent condition when they arrived. They showed no noticeable transplant shock and I've got heavy clay soil. I put some rocks in the bottom of my planting holes to provide some drainage, Then I added bone meal and blood meal to the planting hole and put the roots in contact with that.The plants are healthy and vigorous several weeks after planting them. Not a drooping or discolored leaf on them. Beautiful, dark leaf color.

I have a green thumb but nothing could resurrect the dried up plant I got as a bare root. Total waste of cash.

I ordered 2 of these and was very nervous about them being almost dead and tiny. They are beautiful. Package to protect them and what beautiful, healthy plants.

I have a couple of Smokebushes but my largest one died this year, and my local nurseries aren't carrying them anymore. I received this just a few days after ordering. It is a beautiful specimen and I'm extremely happy with it. I read all the reviews on this and noticed that some people are complaining about the size. If you read the description, you will see that it comes in a quart size pot. Mine was probably about 6 inches tall which is what I was expecting after reading the description. It is a really beautiful plant, and it looks to be very healthy. I plan to look on this sellers' page to see what else they have to offer. It's not a giant plant yet but it will be. I just wish that more people would read the description before giving this a low rating. I would definitely order from this seller again.

Received it as promised, its been three weeks since I got it , it’s not so happy I may have watered it to much since it was in a pot with another plant it’s all alone now so hopefully it will be happy

I expected a much larger plant than what I received. I wish they had a picture of the actual size of the plant. It really would have affected my decision to buy at this price and this time of the year. I could have gotten a much larger plant for the same amount from the nurseries earlier in the year. May have to return because I'm concerned if this little plant is going to make it through the winter in the Northeast.
