Very disappointed by the quality, I've had 3D printed parts with better quality than this. Missing most of the hardware. Not what I expected, at least it sounds good.

I think it's probably the best design available for these 3valve F-150's and I don't feel like I payed the extra money because it says, "Rousch," on it. I did have to get two slightly larger hoses clamps to connect the tube to the air filter housing but I feel pretty good about the end result. My 2004 Crewcab runs smoother and roars like it's been lifting weights on the rec yard. The power increase, alone,, is significant enough to justify purchasing one of these. I live in San Antonio which doesn't exactly have many stepe grades while traveling but the truck ran through the hill country effortlessly while I was visiting friends the other night. Mine has a new Hypertech 3000 programmer I purchased on Amazon with 2019 FX4 wheels and Goodyear A/T's.

The instruction manual says it should take about an hour to install this.... well, this is just my opinion, but that's in a perfect world where everything goes just like it's supposed to. I purchased this for a 2007 F150 and that alone says this will not be a flawless operation and likely more than an hour. My first issue was removing the mass air flow sensor. Theres a small red squeeze tab, that you should be careful not to break, well I broke mine trying to squeeze it. My tower bolts were also so tight in the engine that removing them alone took at least 15 minutes. Once I did, the factory intake came out pretty easy. My next issue came trying to remove the two screws from the old mass air flow sensor. The screws would not release, no matter what I tried. Once the Bit stripped the heads, that was it. (Trip to AutoZone / 30 minutes / additional cost) * NOTE: When you reinstall it on your Roush, do not over tighten, because the plastic housing breaks very easy! (Yep, did that also) The instructions to put the Air Dam together aren't very good, but once you set it up, you will figure it out fairly easily. When you install the MAF Adapter, make sure to use the rights screws, cause you can't get them back out once they are in! Speaking of screws, I wish there would have been a little picture next to the packing list items, just in case there is some confusion, which I had a little bit of. My next issue came installing the Air Dam into my truck. There was no room to put my hand under the dam to put on the washer and nut, so I actually installed one of them upside down. Got to be a better way around this. Okay, so when it was time to install the Hump Hose into the MAF Adapter, you need to understand that it's not just gonna slide on. This step alone took quite a bit of effort and time. You have to put on the clamps during this step also, but they don't actually fit, and if you get them to fit, it's gonna take a whole lot of effort and ingenuity. I tried this numerous ways and had plenty of effort but obviously not enough ingenuity, so I went to Lowe's to purchase larger clamps. My next issue came when it was time to install the L shaped bracket. Just looking at the instruction didn't help me whole lot. You will be installing this on the motor bracket sitting directly below the intake tube and into the side of the tube. Step 18 said to slip the plastic hose mount over the radiator flow tube... still didn't really figure this out, but I didn't have any left over parts either. Maybe you will. So all in all, the instruction were fairly easy to follow even for someone who hasn't worked on any vehicle in any capacity since I can remember. Eventually I got it installed and it looks great. I haven't felt any HP increase or increased throttle response yet but I've only had it two days with limited driving. My last piece of advice would be to disconnect the battery terminal like the instructions say, it's just my opinion but I believe this will limit the chance of your getting a check engine light to due the increase air flow and improper reading from the sensor. Okay, out to drive a bit and should I feel the need to update, I will. (By the way, I spent several hours on this but I guess maybe it was my headspace and timing!)

Awesome product only complaint the clamps could be a bit bigger they give you 4" clamps for a 4" pipe doesn't leave room to screw the clamp together. Bought some over sized clamps to finish the install. Instructions are clear and easy to install fuel mileage stayed the same noticed a difference in throttle response and low end power worth the money.

Installed on 2007 F150 5.4L supercrew. Sounds awesome, added nice low end torque and was super easy to install. I've Ben recommending this CAI to all friends and coworkers with F series trucks. Note: before install, with truck in drive, foot off the brake from stop truck stayed put. After install, same scenario, truck creeps forward. Engine can finally breathe as desired. Also, MPG increased 1.5 miles ~ 35 miles per tank of gas!
