So much I love about these cross bars starting with how stupid simple it was to install!!! I’m not a handy person but this took me a total of 20 minutes from start to finish. Outstanding quality in materials and truly thoughtful design features.1. ASSEMBLE THE END CAPS TO THE BARS FIRST!! This is about a 10 minute process for the clueless (including me). Use key to unlock covers and remove them so you can install the end caps on each bar. They are clearly marked with “front”, “rear”, “left”, “right” but if you don’t have the right end cap….they designed the holes for the screws so only the right end cap lines up on the correct bar for installation. They really kept it simple stupid!!2. Once you’ve installed the end caps, tighten them each about half way3. Next step is loosening the top screw on the end caps so the bar catch releases but do NOT unscrew the bolt completely….just enough so the catch releases is loose and hanging down4. INSTALL took me 10 minutes! Starting on one side of the Atlas, place the bars approximately 6 inches away from the front & back part of your roof rails (most Atlas’s all have roof rails). Then, fit the end caps onto your roof rails (you may have to loosen the top screw a bit more until it slides into place gripping the top & underneath roof rail.5. Go to the other side and adjust the end caps onto the roof rail until it snugly fits on the top & bottom of the roof rail.6. Once the bars’ end caps are in place, tighten down the top screws on all 4 end caps7. Slide the security cover back on using the keys and removing the key can only be done in the locked position. That’s it!! You are installed and looking sporty hot ready to trot!!What I love?— The quality of the construction, materials and design are all OUTSTANDING!— The instructions are really simple so assembly and install should be complete in 20 minutes or less— The bar clamps on the end caps are equipped with a soft but heavy duty rubber/silicone to provide both better grip AND prevent scratching on your roof rails— They even VERY THOUGHTFULLY included a center beveled edge rubber stripping down the center of the bars to prevent scratching or slipping of anything you strap onto the bars!!Overall, I am ridiculously thrilled with how the bars look as I was afraid of them really sticking out….but instead…they enhance the look of my Atlas. I absolutely 100% recommend these crossbars and this Seller for the product functionality which is outstanding!! Streamlined for noise-cancelling too!! I don’t even hear a difference with them on!!
