I have been thinking about my bikepacking setup now that I forcefully started the season (PNW, still colder than I want). I wanted to carry repair kit in waterproof bag away from other items yet easy to access when needed, so I gave this bag a try.Construction:Very nicely constructed though The zipper pull housing is too small for being "waterproof" bag. I will see how well the content stays dry. The bottom is stiff and screw holes are tight which is good. However, the distance is a bit off and I had to expand a hole. And for some reason, it came with Phillip head screws which means you want to make sure your multi-tool has a Phillips screwdriver in case something happens on the road. For me for carrying repair kit on down/seat tube:It utilized the dead zone of my small triangle which is nice. It's big enough for majority of my repair kits.If I were to use this on top tube:I would not like the way it opens. If I were a roadie, using this bag with straps (comes with the bag) and wanted an easy/quick access of snacks when stopped at a traffic light, I might get frustrated. Also, the velvet-y texture of the fabric inside is not sticky-gel-friendly. But, I am out of practice being a roadie, so don't take me too seriously.

I have this bag bolt mounted on a Canyon Endurace on the top tube. It's been rock solid.I glued some foam to the top of the bolts to keep the contents from rattling which was annoying.Definitely water proof. Definitely not rubbing thighs or knees. Hiding right behind the head tube definitely not catching wind. Zipper works great, even looks slick. Fits a multi tool, micro pump, TPU tube and has a little extra room for a granola bar or two if I really jam em in there.Easy 5 stars, buy two.
