Get what you pay for. Sturdy, loud, decent battery life. You have to speak directly into the microphone though. Some Retevis can be programmed and some can't so check first.

Used the walkie talkies at a youth summer camp. The camp counselors and administrators loved them. They charged in an hour, audio was very clear, and they were easy to use.

We've only had these about a week but so far they are out-performing the previous sets we've had. We have a large retail garden center and our crew members need to be able to communicate with each other all day, wherever they are on our one-plus acre property. They seem well-made and very sturdy, easy to use and the sound quality far exceeds the ones we've had before (where we struggled to understand anything anyone said). Very pleased with them so far. Fingers crossed they hold up well.
