I had been using the Fire App when my previous remote died. I decided to take my chances and purchase this one, since the $30 replacement remote didn’t work! It paired well, though I had to go through the steps twice - I think a person needs to hold the remote next to the Fire box for it to pair properly. I don’t have Hulu or Disney plus, but I tested the Prime button and it worked perfectly.

This remote connects to my firetick and TB and controls them. However, it isn’t as responsive as an actual Firestick remote. I kind of expected something to be different. I am glad it connected to both easily.

It claims that it works for fire stick 4K but it's a lie. I did everything you can think of as far as troubleshooting is concerned and it just won't pair. I have tried 4 different remotes already and none of them pair to it. I don't believe there is a replacement remote for fire sticks and I would just need to buy a whole new fire stick to get a new remote smh
