These shrink bands work well for me using a heat gun on a low setting. Check your cap size. If you order shrink bands too large they will bunch up when heated. I have not tried using a standard hair dryer, but I'm sure it would work fine.... or eventually. Buy a heat gun if you are using shrink bands.

I’ve bought these things before but this brand is the best. They shrink like shrinky dinks on the commercial.

Perfect for resealing anything-shampoo and lotion bottles for travel. My favorite is smuggling booze into mouthwash bottles for a cruise.Just run a pot of boiling water and dunk the top of whatever you’re sealing quickly inside the water. Seals in seconds!

the title of the product is somewhat misleading, and though it is clarified elsewhere in the post, i did not see that, since it came up in results with other like products i just assumed it was the same. The 1" listing is the HEIGHT of the band, and not the diameter. as its my own fault for not reading, i cant really mark it down because they work fine, they are just much much larger then expected.

This year my friends and family are going to get a really special fruit of my labor. They have become quite content with my "creations" in the past. Gifts from the heart are so much more appreciated than gift cards, last minute sale items and God forgive...REGIFTING!!!! So for gift giving this year, I made Kitchen Sink Vanilla and Kitchen Sink Kahula.Enough rambling about me. I purchased these little plastic "pease of mind" covers for the vanilla bottles. I am hoping they will fit the Kahula bottles. If not singly, these can be overlapped to extend the length, enough to wrap around larger vessels. As described, user friendly, inexpensive. What better deal can you expect?
