Very easy to install and works very well in high grass. Even though the manufacturer warns against this, it works very well for edging, however, the plastic blades would need to be replaced more frequently. The unit does come with a generous supply of extra blades. Very pleased with the outcome.

The blades are easy to change when I wear them down, much better than Ryobi's process. The unit lasts longer than the Ryobi blade housing because of the design. Sometimes the unit comes off, but it is easy to put back on and I would rather it come off than braking.

At first, I was excited to get this. It looked easy to snap together and into place on my weed wacker. It took three attempts to get it into place, as it was misaligned slightly. Off I went to the weed. I got about a foot into my work, after what i thought was a root or rock hitting me and noticing a strange noise coming from the blades I flipped the wacker upside-down to find a blade had dislodged. I thought,"Okay, maybe I didn't snap it into place properly." I get about 75% further and notice a more concerning noise. The ends of the unit started lifting up. I pushed it down on the grass to snap it back into place. This happened three times before both blades flew off and the unit became worthless.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!THIS COULD HURT SOMEONE!THIS PRODUCT IS DANGEROUS!

Snapped right into my Ryobi One+ 18v P2008 trimmer. Blades just a little smaller and not quite as thick, but just right for my property. No tool necessary. Priced right and quick delivery.

The blade-head pops off sometimes and those blades break so easy your always replacing them . I went through 10 set in last than 15 minutes once you hit a rock or stick it breaks .needs tobe heavier built so it last longer .

I was having difficulty restringing my weed wacker and found this. So simple. It is more powerful than string so definitely need to be careful near my vinyl fence panels though.
