Would be a great product if it fits….But it is too big if you want to put your filter on. Needed to add a soft sponge sticker on the inner to fit.

This is a perfect fit for my two 39mm thread mounts. It looks really good on my Leica 90mm f4 Macro and my Leica 35mm f2 Asph. I highly recommend - good built quality.

The lens cap fits perfectly and looks great on the Leica Summarit-M 35mm F2.8 lens when the hood is not attached. I put a Leica UV filter on it but have no problem using this lens cap. I definitely recommend it if you’re not using a metal hood and are looking for a solid alternative lens cap.

I own Leicas and purchased this lens cap for my vintage Summicron 35mm f2 (which came with the original black metal lens cap but slightly different lettering). I decided to purchase this one and it's the one I carry with when I take my camera out, simply because it'll be easy to replace in case it gets lost. However, now I must admit to taking as much care of this lens cap as if it were the real German one, because it's really good quality, fits snugly with the lens, and seems even tougher. Not a bad deal. Highly recommended to Leica users!

Sticks to my 35mm hood and is very sturdy. My only complaint is it's such a tight fit it sunctions onto my lens and can be a challenge to remove. Im keeping it but really im using a clip front cap most of the time.

This is a metal lens cap to fit over the 39mm filter diameter of Leica lenses. I have an old 90mm tele-elmarit (thin version) and it fits perfectly. It also fits on my 35mm Summicron. Well made: metal and felt lined for a secure fit. Nice looking with Leica logo. Note that it fits over the end of the lens or filter as opposed to lens caps that fit on the inside diameter of the lens or filter with pinch springs.
