Bought these lights to replace lights in a 1978 boat. They work, however, in some fixtures you cannot use two bulbs, as one side will not illuminate. I've tried all different combinations, including putting the original bulbs back in and the fixture works. They definitely are "white", but not so bright as to blind you. 3 stars because I cannot use them as intended.

I bought 6 of these dome light LEDs in Jan 2025 for $10.50 USD. They don't have automatic polarity. If it doesn't work, turn it around and try again. That's actually a feature, not a shortcoming. Without the diodes to make them work with either polarity or AC, there's less wasted energy warming up the diodes. But I didn't see any mention of this in the product advertisement.I like that the LEDs shine on only one side. That avoids wasting light by shining it on the back of the fixture. Installed this way, these cast more light on my reading material than the originals.I measured 0.085A on one of these lamps with 13.2V applied. That's 1.1W power consumption. The originals drew 0.82 A at the same voltage. Multiplied by 3 (number of bulbs in my dome light), the reduction in current should enable much more use before the car's battery goes flat.I had to force the fixture's clips apart to install these in my car because the LED PCB is wider than the clips. It is 26 mm long and 13.5 mm wide.

Half don't even work, and they're bigger than typical 578 bulbs, cheap apparently. Broke my f250s copper trying to put the first one in, should never have bought them.

Looks more saturated in the photo I took. The real thing looks a lot like an incandescent bulb's color. Great price, fit fine, and maybe not quite as bright as the bluish bulb it replaced but absolutely worth it. Not nearly as harsh on the eyes. One photo shows it beside that AutoZone bulb I tried using before.

The bulbs are working well in my HGV, however be careful that it is only used in a 12v socket. I accidentally put it in a 24v socket too, and there it burnt out. There are clear burn marks on the PCB.

The warm white are a direct replacement to the OEM bulbs, but use LEDs instead of the traditional high wattage filaments. Same brightness, same warm white. I use them in my Astro cargo van with great results.

They're a great warm white, are very bright, and lit up the whole cabin of an 05' Tacoma king cab. Great value as well!

This is the perfect option if you have an older, maybe antique vehicle were you want all the benefits of LED (low wattage/easy on old wiring) but without the bright white/cold white look that often accompanies LED bulbs. I gave the brightness only 3 stars but that’s because I didn’t want to give the impression of being too bright. This replicates the OEM style incandescent festoon style bulb perfectly
