the very aggressive bristles do a great job, two angles to really flick the paint off. nice handle. had the older version for 20 yrs, needed a new one. wow, its better than old one. if you paint metal, or weld - this is the brush for you.

BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE AN IMPORTANT PROJECT. It leaves a lead like stain on stone. This is not the best quality metal

Most of purdy products are worth the money. This brush is well made the handle is made of a strong non flexible plastic 'however the brush bristles are not that sturdy 'the tend to easily bend and not flex back into its original straight shape. So if you want a brush with extremely stiff non flexible bristles 'this is not the brush you you.However if you are using it the clean general areas such as rusty steel'dried paint ' concrete floors 'etc..it will work...i just also purchased the 14 inch version...i think they are worth the money for general use.

The best wire brush I have ever owned. I use it for cleaning paint brushes. Extremely durable. Has not lost a single bristle as near as I can tell. I have previously owned wooden handle brushes that shed bristles so fast they were trash within three months. I am going to buy a second one so I can have one both at home and on the job site. I am also a big fan of Purdy paint brushes.

Nice brush with stainless steel bristles and a comfortable handle. Bonus feature is the hammer handle but on a wire brush this is not as useful as you may think. Having said that I do like Purdy products and this is a useful tool to have.
