Purdy Colossus roller covers provides unmatched durability and abrasion resistance. Made with 100% woven polyamide, this paint applicator is designed for semi-rough to rough surfaces. For best results, use with latex and oil-based paints and primers in flat, eggshell and satin sheens. Handcrafted in the USA, this Purdy roller paint cover is ideal for drywall, masonry, stucco and rough wood. Featuring polypropylene cores that are resistant to all paints, stains and solvents that extend their life. Thermal bond technology winds roller cover fabric to the core with a perfect spiral seam for smooth rolling. Ultra-durable roller cover cores eliminate bending, allowing even contact with the wall. What you expect from purdy , saved me loads of time on a job . Washes a treat. Will lasted ages even on a super rough wall.

Looks ok however I bought this item with a Hamilton 9 Inch To 15 Inch Adjustable Double Arm Roller Frame Kit; which is robust and looks like I will get years of service. HOWEVER the end caps do not fit this roller, they are too small. So completely useless for the roller system I bought it for. All I can think off is this is built for the Purdy adjustable roller system which didn't have as good a review on the account of it being less robust. But you must speak as you find? I have used a hamilton before and I am renovating my old house therefore my frequency of equipment usage is a bit higher than DIY. There is a two tier system for tools and equipment out there, with some items purely designed for the infrequent user. Sods law means the damn thing fails when you really need it. So talk to friends who are in the trade and see what they recommend and believe me somebody who is in a particular trade will not want to spend a penny more than they need too, not if they want to stay in business. It will save you money in the long run and may save you from having to go to the DIY superstore in the middle of a project with she who must be obeyed breathing fire in your general direction. So I will attempt to find end caps which will allow me to use this Purdy colossus roller. chow for now ;)
