I used these rollers on an Ikea dresser painting project. I took the time to sand and paint the dresser, and when it got to adding color I used these rollers. However, they shed their blue hair right into the paint as I rolled. I tried to pick out the biggest clumps but I can still see many hairs throughout the final product. Definitely a bummer given how much I put into the rest of the project. Wouldn't recommend these or use them again :(

I bought these roller covers to paint a very smooth metal door and to apply Minwax Polycrylic clear gloss afterwards, sanding between the Polycrylic coats in-between with a 3M 320 grit sanding sponge with extremely light pressure. I can't praise the quality of these rollers enough. Besides the impeccable smooth job they do, they even feel like satin when you first take them out of the package. Absolutely flawless!
