Its steel and it works with a 420 chain. As far as fitment, it does not fit the coleman kt196 sprocket carrier, however it does fit on the caliper side of that same carrier. Do with that info what you will. I bought it for customer application and it worked great. If you want to see what that turned out like you can see it on Definitely Not Mechanics. (Youtube)

I'm building a go kart for my grandson with my son-in-law. I've collecting parts and putting things together. I have the #35 chain and needed a #35 rear sprocket. This one looks great and fits the links perfectly. It attaches easily to my new 212cc Predator motor. The promo page says the sprocket is made of high quality steel disc material. I have no idea what that means or what kind of steel that is. I've never heard of "disc material". As long as it's safe and works well, I'm happy.
