Very disappointed in the quality of the tools. Cheaply made. When the kit arrived, the tools were scattered all over the case they came in. Be forewarned: IF you are disappointed in this purchase, you will be charged a $7.00 return fee and required to drop it off at a UPS center..

I had got it and it was missing items and as soon as I let them know they were willing to either send me the missing items or replace it totally. Very professional and a good product for beginners

The case is garbage, all my tools and blades were in a heap in the case on delivery. Cheap felt and elastic retainers. Sorted out ok I guess, tools are fine, blades are sealed and appear functional.

This is the kit one buys when one wants a versatile dissection tool repository from which to populate one's much smaller field kit. The case is bulky and awkward and doesn't hold the clamps and scissors and tweezers effectively and the ways in which they are secured seems an afterthought. This kit will end up in the trunk of your car and strictly used to supplement the kit you keep in your field bag for those tools you only need once a while; or for a spare blade. Are these surgical grade tools? No. But they've a good wieght, they're sharp where they need to be and precise enough to pull the pollen from a stamen if one can see that close. They've survived bath cycles in my sonic sterilizer. I use them every day both in my lab and out in the field; the case of the latter though, I carry them in a much smaller field case.
