Easy to use inverter.

For a long time I have done without an inverter in my car but decided it was a good idea. When there are 2 or 3 people in there with devices some of which are USB powered and some are not it's nice to have. I keep this and USB hub with a small extension cord that can reach the back seat. That way phones and games can be plugged in with only a single cable running to the back instead of a mess of 3 or 4. Also if I take an older laptop that does not charge off USB then it can be plugged in when needed. And when I do not need it then it all goes under the seat easily. I would have liked to see a dual connection with some alligator clips to run straight to a battery but I guess that is a different price point.

Ordered this inverter to replace a smaller one in my vehicle. I have a laptop I use for work in my center console and like to charge the laptop and my cellphone when I drive. My smaller inverter did not have a PD port and the 100w charger would cause the inverter to struggle. This inverter takes care of both issues by providing enough power to charge my laptop and cell phone at the same time. I have also used this inverter while camping out of my vehicle and was able to run everything I needed to include a mini refrigerator. This inverter has a fan which if put in the right location of your vehicle you can barely hear.Overall, this is a fantastic inverter.

I ordered this 400W power inverter to incorporate into my existing solar backup system at the house. While I have two large inverters for powering the big stuff when the lights go out, sometimes I just need a small draw device for chargers and accessories - this device is perfect for that job.This pocket size inverter is similar to many of this design on the market - a pair of 110VAC outlets along with a couple USB ports. What make it stand out is how clean the AC output is. With no reference to it in the listing, the instructions, or on the device itself, for the price, I’m left to assume its output is 110 VAC ‘Modified Sine Wave’. To test its performance and upper limits I connected my vintage Sony stereo from the 80s that draws 320W AC. When running off my big inverter (also modified sine wave), that stereo emits a buzz from its power transformer which is also background audible in the audio output - a product of the stepped AC wave of MSW. This little inverter not only had no trouble running that stereo at a considerable volume for hours of my test, but it did so silently. There is no audible buzz coming from the stereo’s transformers nor in the audio output - it ran silently like it was connected to mains AC!! There’s a possibility that this inverter is a Pure Sine wave model, in which case that’s exactly what I’d expect, but since there’s no designation to be found, and considering its relatively low price, it’s likely a MSW. But if it is, it seems to be putting out a super clean AC wave which is much more cooperative with electronics. In short: this is good!Its compact size makes it easy to store in a glovebox, trunk, or under the seat of a vehicle for quick access to 110VAC when needed on the road. And at 400W max output, it should easily power LCD/LED screens and laptops and such. The whole device feels solidly well built, and the DC input cables seem to be proper size for its rated output.Overall I’m quite impressed with how this device has been performing. I’ll update if anything unexpected arises, but for now absolutely recommended with five stars!
