It's stainless steel, sure, but the finish of it is pretty subpar. It keeps ice for about 4-6 hours at room temperature before it's just a large chunk of uselessness. I would say it's fine for a few hours at a party, as it's designed for, but not much else.

This size ice bucket is made for 1-2 people. It needs to be bigger for parties or events. I ordered this one for my mother's room. She needs a small bucket to hold ice without making multiple trips to the kitchen.Positives:1. It's small enough for her to carry.2. It has a positive stainless appearance.3. It keeps ice cold for up to 3 hours (74-degree average temperature).4. It comes in two sizes - 1.5 and 3 liters.Negatives:1. The loop handle studs are screwed in. The studs were barely attached when received probably because it took me 10 minutes to screw them in around the loop handle (no tread). It did cause some damage to the studs.2. The lid gasket was not in place. It needs to be against the top of the lid. When first used, the gasket came completely off and was overstretched by the effort. It doesn't stay on now.With better quality control, this could be a better ice bucket for small purposes. 3 stars.

This is a very cute, very well made little ice bucket. It's sidewalls are pretty thick which means it's well-insulated...but it also means it doesn't hold much ice. Probably good for a couple or a small dinner party...Looks great on my bar!

I like the ice bucket, it looks great. This is the 1.5-quart bucket, so it is on the small size. I put a can in the photo for perspective. Good for a small group or just a couple of people. The quality is fine, if anything, the lid is very secure and a little difficult to get off. Ice didn't melt quickly. I hope it may loosen with some time.
