Thermostat Kit:
Universal fit for any automotive vehicle and electric fan.
Activates by grounding electric fans at preset temperature.
Comes on at 185º AND Turns off at 165º.
3/8" NPT thread-in brass probe included.
Probe typically threads into radiator, water outlet or manifold.
RED + connect directly to battery.
WHITE wire to ignition switch power source.
BLACK goes to thermos switch.
BLUE wire goes to the Fans.
This set up will run Fans & pull air in through radiator.

This is a direct replacement for an 86 c10. The stock brackets do fit over the radiator somewhat but you may have to bend them/fabricate a small mounting tab if you want something to screw into.You’ll need to order the pigtails for the fans if you want a direct plug and play or you can use basic electrical spade connectors to make it work. Keeps the truck cool, doesn’t leak, it’s well built for the price. Would buy again for a cheap build as opposed to a $1,000 option

This fit and worked perfectly. It would be a lot better if it included a simple wiring diagram but a google search did their job for them. I also purchased separately different coolant temp fan switches to keep the engine running at my preferred temp.

I use this radiator double fans on an LS swap 5.3 on 1986 C10. And on my OBS 1989 C1500 with L83 gen 5 5.3 Lt swap. On the 1989 you have to modify the radiator support to make this work well but it will work!!!!!!!

It's a well built radiator, BUT it is shorter than the factory in my 86 k10. Got creative and fixed that problem. Then came the wiring, it was wayyy to short so be prepared to buy extra wire and conduit, and zero wiring diagram. Finally after installation I tested it, the fans came on and never shut off, the thermostat was running it around 140 degrees and fans still wide open, the fans would stay off until it got up to initial temp if you left it parked overnight. Definitely going to get a better thermostat/switch. Would easily get 5 stars if they used some better supplies because the radiator is beautiful. Be prepared to spend at least another $50+ to get everything right.

Installed in my 1985 C30 with 454. Keeps the motor cool and looks good as well. However, be aware that the radiator is 1/2" shorter than stock size, this was solved by doubling up the bottom isolators. The hold down had to be trimmed slightly to accomodate the different radiator cap location. There is a wiring harness included, my previous review said it wasn't. It arrived 1 week later in a separate package. No markings on the sender to indicate temp range, but it would be safe to say 185 on and 175 off. Includes sender, 30a relay, fuse, fuse holder, eyelets and connectors. Good value, function, and looks overall.

I'm about 3 weeks having it installed, only issue i had was the threading being metric so i had to find the right fitting for my transmission other than that so far so good i would recommend having 2 relays mine warms up a bit, but i do live in AZ so it might make a difference, doesn't shut off but my fans seem to spin a bit faster now with 2.
