My hens started laying eggs after a few days of having this in their water.

The chickens didn't seem to mind this additive in their water. It didn't smell bad or anything. As with any supplement or vitamin, it's a little hard to tell if its "working" and it takes some time. I don't know if the chickens noticed anything, but the eggs did slowly become harder. The advertisement of up to 80 gallons definitely doesn't make sense mathematically but otherwise so far so good, good product. I recommend.

Our hens were laying soft shell eggs until I started giving them this Calcium in their water along with oyster shells. We now get gorgeous hard eggs 😁

I think it's working, slowly but every day it's improving! I have a couple older hens that were laying soft shelled and broken eggs. I tried everything! 24 access to oyster shell, scrambled eggs daily, crushed eggshells, treated for mites, electrolytes, fans in the coop, roll away nesting boxes, added liquid human calcium and vitamin D supplements to water. Nothing worked. I ordered this as a last ditch effort. At first, not much difference. But after about a week, the shells started starting together, but their eggs looked rough. And then suddenly, normal eggs! And the broken eggs seemed to have stopped. It's pricey, and I'm probably working against the inevitable with older, battery rescue hens, but right now it sends so be working when nothing else did.

I have a 2 year old White Austria. All a sudden she started laying very brittle eggs & they would break by the time I got it out of the nesting box due to other hens laying in the same box. I had oyster shell out & put crushed eggshells in their food. You could even see the calcium buildup on her eggs, but it was always in the same spot on the egg. I felt her body wasn’t absorbing the calcium correctly. Added this to their water & saw instant results the next time she laid! Very happy with the results!

Save your money and buy crushed coral calcium and add to feed! Beware of other small pets drinking the chicken water! Made my cat VERY sick with hypercalcimia. My chickens are free range and water is accessible to other animals

One of my chickens was laying a soft egg. I bought this liquid calcium to put in their water in hopes that it works. Since I started using it, I have not seen a soft egg.
