This is the second time I’ve given it a try. The first one literally had fallen apart before I took it out of the box. The second one simply malfunctioned on almost every occasion.Back to the drawing board for sad smoky dog.

Works as advertised. Currently enjoying a fresh Campari&Soda, and the flavor is far superior to one made with canned or bottled soda.I dare say, the buzz may even be better! To be continued.Dec.16,2024-still going strong; the siphon, not the buzz.

I bought one and it drooled water everywhere. Replaced it. Replacement was also dripping everywhere, but in a slightly different way. Tried to make one working version with parts from the two. The “new” version was somewhat better but almost as bad as the original. Send the second one back too. Go look at the Sodastream Aqua Fizz with glass, not plastic, bottles. Much better.

Well, it's quite heavy however, I do kind of like the weight. But the little rubber foot continually comes off and it's quite annoying. It is made with a fair amount of plastic. I think a better choice could be made by the manufacturer. Also, the cap for the CO2 valve is quite smooth and kind of a pain to get a grip on to remove occasionally. Overall, not what I was hoping for for one of the most expensive carbonators on amazon.

I use only steam distilled water because it leaves the inside of the bottle clean from mineral deposits. No worries about micro-plastic debris in the bottle. Just the right overall height to go in the fridge. Do NOT make it any higher. I always refrigerate to keep maximum amount of dissolved CO2 in water.

Update. I'm junking it. The feed tube is an inch or two too short, the head and handle leaks both CO2 and water. It doesn't charge enough with one charger, and leaks with two. Back to ISI.I'm on the fence about this product. I like the capacity, I had a .75L one before, this one is a full liter. That said, it's already broken with the feed tube falling off the gasket. When you go to charge the siphon, the feed tube would disconnect from the gasket and descend into the bottle -- thereby making the CO2 charge useless.I'm replacing a ten year old ISI stainless steel siphon that wore out and started leaking. I used it almost every day.
