I used this tape around the edge of the lid of a faux leather storage ottoman that started to peel and rip. Instead of spending $200 per lid, the price that was quoted to me by a couple of upholsterers, I applied the tape. It only took minutes and looks good!

I used a small piece of the tape on a little booklet I made. And it really sticks well. So well that when I accidentally let the 2 sticky sides touch, there’s no way of pulling it apart. Wonderful. Thank you so much for offering an excellent product.

This tape was used to repair book binding. The product performed as expected, great price and quality. Thickness and appearance was spot on for book repairs.

Sticky, moldable, repairs the book well. This is the same stuff my elementary school librarian used, I swear. Recommended.

Strong tape, with equally strong adhesive. A little expensive for the small roll, but I had only one well-used book to repair. The repair looks quite nicenice

I used this product to repair my uncle's well-worn hymnal. The cover and spine had completely come apart in three pieces and had detached from the text block. After watching YouTube videos on how to repair books, I bought this tape and the result is excellent. The tape has a fabric feel and a matte finish. It is very strong yet flexible and it adheres very well. In two instances I needed to adjust the position of tape I had applied. It was difficult to detach it from its position but it was possible and didn't damage the surface. After I adjusted it, it stuck like new. I'm very happy I chose this tape for the job.

I've been using an acrylic-coated rayon fabric Tesa 4651 tape on my daily used book for years, now after couple years I have to change one strip because it moved out of place due to how I held the book.So now I bought this vinyl-coated cotton cloth BookGuard tape and used it to replace the tape on one side of the spine, and within a month the black color started fading away where hands touch it and it looks horrible. Photo is from less than 2 months use, the side with the faded tape is this BookGuard, and on the other side of the spine is 3 year old Tesa 4651.I contacted the seller ChomaLabel about this issue and below is their response:Good morning Perinne,I am sorry to hear this. Wear like that is normal when used a lot, especially along the edges. I would suggest cutting a thinner strip of any remaining tape you may have left and adding it over the fading part.I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.Sincerely,ChromaLabel
