The strength of anodized aluminum combined with fiberglass creates a pole of great strength and also reduces the danger of electric conductivity. More durable than fiberglass alone and 40 percent lighter in weight. Better balanced and more rigid when telescoped. Large twist-lock mechanism for ease of extension. Pole extends 8-Feet to 16-Feet.

the pole has good height and is light weight, but the twist lock required a pliers to loosen. Now the pliers will not budge the twist lock and i have decided it will have to be a permanent extended pole. Possibly my particular pole is defective and this is not a defect of the model - therefore i will give it a three rather than a two

I was totally impressed with the quality and strength of this rod. When fully extended it was still very sturdy.
