Bought these as fidget toys for my 12 y.o. special needs son. I would call them disposable at best. He pulled one out and it was hard, but not impossible to get it back to the compact shape the first time. After five minutes of playing the first one was done. If you have a smaller child or one who is more gentle then these might last longer for you. They also make a decently loud sound if you have a kiddo that likes that input.

My kids love these they are way bigger than your average pop tube. They are harder to pull but after. Few tries my kids are obsessed. I am really happy with the purchase they're fun durable decently priced. They are alot noisier than regular pop tubes so if you don't like the sound of them I wouldn't recommend.

So im going to be completely honest here, among friends we had a nostalgic conversation about weird toys we loved as kids, and we were all in agreement about the whirly tube or whistle tube's or whatever you want to call them. My one friend had never heard of such a thing, so I ordered these and had them sent to her house so that she could understand the silly joy of swinging them around like a lasso and listening to the whistle sound they made...Only.. these don't whistle.. I've gotten her hopes up just to dash them to the ground again and further not let her experience the simple joy of a whistle tube.I know it seems stupid, but it was a pretty crushing defeat ..and a waste of money. She is playing with her cat with them though, so that's something.

I got these for my nephews and they loved them, the only thing that I dislike is they are VERY LOUD.

Nice to have the extra large size, and love that they screw together. Only negative is that the plastic is a little thin, and gets bended/dented some. But I'm not sure it'd be possible to have the toy work if the plastic were thicker.
