Child Safety Pool Latch for Chain Link Fence Gates
The latch is horizontally and vertically adjustable, reversible (right or left handed) with a easy grip release knob. Easy to install, even on existing gates and comes poly-bagged with screws and instructions. Needs Spring Closer to self-close and latch (purchased separately) Latch requires a minimum of 2-1/2" between gate frame and gate post to operate freely.

We have an chainlink fence around our swimming pool and only had the lock that you lifted and closed prior to buying this lock. This lock has made me feel so much better paired with a mechanism to pull the door shut. The lock closes on its own and my kids can't open the gate without an adult. I highly recommend this product.

I had an old set of this gate handle on my gate that finally went bad after 10+ years. It took me awhile to find this handle design as most stores didn’t carry it. It’s super simple to use and install. Took maybe 10 minutes total to remove old one and install new one.

Sturdy, works easily. Too be honest, I had to figure out how to open the gate. It really doesn’t say anywhere. I figured it out by watching a few videos.

If I had known how simple this would be to use as a gate latch, I would have installed one of these long before I needed it to keep children safe. Pushing the handle down to open the gate is so much easier than using the standard fence latches. I have no comment on the longevity as I only recently (spr 2023) installed. But it was easy to put in and easier to use along with the intended benefit of making the gate safer for children.
