Got these for our condo building, fantastic sturdy and well built. The tips are nice, good weight, seem to be pretty accurate but I'm no pro. Great value.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the overall build quality of these cue's. They look great, the designs are a nice inlay, and not so flashy that people think you're a pool shark. The first time I put them together and rolled them across the table, I could not believe how straight they were. Absolute perfection. They also came with some gloves but they are WAY small. I don't think they are adult size.

I'm an occasional pool player with no illusions of skill or talent. I do like having our own sticks when heading to the pool hall or bar to play. Both sticks in my set were straight and solid. I like the pattern and colors. They feel well balanced. I'm very happy with them.

By my recognition, the proper category for the product would be under STEM toys, in that a pool cue provides lessons in inertia, application of friction (chalk on the tip and the run of the ball on the table), and reflection angle (when banking shots off the rails). None of the above provides the reader with any specific information on this particular cue, so here goes. The stick is nicely packaged to protect against shipping damage in a plastic sheath, housed in styrofoam, tightly cased in a heavy cardboard box. The wood tip half of the stick is a beautiful, knot free, piece of maple which has been given a fine sanding. There is only about an inch of clear finish on the tip half adjacent to the joint. The joint bolt and receiving nut are well made and the combined shaft mates seamlessly. The assembled stick is straight and does not deviate when rolled. The back half of the stick is covered with a white lacquer so what is going on under it remains conjecture. The decorations are obviously decals but understated and well done. The butt end is well protected with rubber. The stick weight stated in the ad was 20 oz. and the stick received was 21 oz. Both obviously intended for use as a break cue so it is open for debate whether this diversion was a feature or a flaw. As a big guy, I am happy with the 21 oz. variant. Over joyed, in fact. The only actual flaw with the whole apparatus that I could detect was that the (what should have been) nickel sized conical shape on the leather cue tip was a crude and irregular shape made by an apprentice. That defect, if left uncorrected, would have made the stick either unplayable or definitely frustrating. Fortunately, I already possess the proper tip file required and made quick work of the issue. That tool, by the way, only costs a few dollars and should already be part of a pool player’s kit. That said, am I happy with the purchase? Absolutely. Would I buy another one? I have.
