For the price it is a decent product. Even if it was more expensive it would still be a decent product. I trust it to hold my headset tight. Use a little Loctite 242 on the bolt for extra piece of mind.

I didn’t use the star nut. I only bought this because I stripped the bolt on my last stem cap, so this replaced that strip bolt. I like the gold color, although it’s a little more orange than yellow. Overall it was worth it, good price and performance, I would certainly buy it again.

I used this to install inside my bikes head steerer tube to tighten up the play in the fork & handlebar. Worked as I hoped it would!
