Je suis vraiment content de ce dérailleur avant! J’avais à remplacer un Shimano Sora avec 3 plateaux à l’avant et ça fait à merveille! L’ajustement est meilleur que celui de mon Sora!

15年ぐらい乗っているシクロクロス、よく働いてくれたけれどガタが大きくなってきたので交換。リヤディレイラー、シフターと共に変えたので、調整に苦労しましたが、決まると快適に動きます。

I used this derailleur on a vintage 1985 Schwinn High Sierra mountain bike running a 7x3 style drivetrain to be able to shift the front chainrings with a Shimano RSX road bike brake/shift lever. I needed this to match the cable-pull ratio of the shifters; road bike and mountain bike front shifting systems do not share the same cable-pull ratio, and I needed the ratio to match since my shifters were indexed shifting only. This worked perfectly for what I wanted. My only negative is that I had to use a shim, which was included, in the mounting clamp to fit the derailleur to my frame. I don't like using shims to make things fit, but at least the shims are designed to fit the clamp and they are included with the derailleur. There is also no fine adjustment such as a barrel adjuster on the cable tension, so I added an inline barrel adjuster from Jagwire to the front shift cable which made dialing in the front shifting much easier.

This is a much better built front derailleur than SORA. The Sora broke the spring tab on two different bikes. It's hard or impossible to find the Sora, but that's OK because I wouldn't want one of those again. This seems better and works on 8/3 and also a 7/3 gearing. It has a fairly wide cage so if you have micro adjust levers or "1/2 steps", you can adjust any cage contact. This one does not have a cage that opens up, so you have to break the chain to put it on.

I installed this is front derailleur, and day one everything was working fine. Then, for some reason, it began to slip down the frame, ever so slightly at first, whenever I shifted onto the large chain ring, and soon it was rubbing against the chain ring. I could understand it. I installed everything correctly, but now, there was a problem.I took it into the shop, and the mechanic pointed out that the shims that helped secured the derailleur to the frame were the wrong size (!). Disheartened, I headed home with visions of new derailleurs dancing in my head. One would think that would be a not-so-bad vision to have, but now those visions are associated with disappointment.Not sure if it's a manufacturer error, or it was somehow due to vendor error, but I'm now without a front derailleur on my commuter bike.

Needed a 8x3 front derailleur for my old crossbike as the original was beyond salvation. This was an easy and effective replacement. The price was good, less than expected and it was better at it's job than what it replaced. Installation was easy, and the inclusion of 3 sets of shims for 3 seat tube diameters made it a no brainer for me. Shifting is solid but the action will probably be stiff if you are used to a double. Accomodated my 50t chainring but I think that is the upper limit.

各シートチューブにあうシム付きなので取り付け車種が多い。機能的にはシフターとのマッチングもあるが クラリスのペアで使用しているがストロークがやや大きいがストレスなくシフト（３枚リング）できている。
